Sergio Hudson

Born in the mid 80’s, Sergio Hudson always had a broad perspective of Rock & Roll fashion, admiring icons such as Gianni Versace and Grace Jones. At a young age it was evident that he was destined for a career in Fashion. After attending Design School in Atlanta, GA,  Hudson’s career shifted into overdrive when he was chosen as an alternate contestant, on Bravo TV's “Styled to Rock”. The fashion based docu-series allowed him the opportunity to work with celebrities such as Miley Cyrus, Kelly Osbourne and Pharell Williams, just to name a few. Hudson advanced through  out the competition and became the winner,  after his designs were chosen by singer, fashion icon, and executive producer Rihanna. 

In 2014 Hudson Launched his namesake Ready-to-wear collection, establishing a aesthetic defined by emaculate tailoring, infusions of androgyny, paired with overtly sexy silhouettes. His vision is to bring back the joy of dressing. He is doing just that, one collection at a time.

Sai Sankoh

Sai Sankoh the renowned entrepreneur and luxury fashion consultant is a native from Sierra Leone in West Africa and is deeply inspired by the glamour of the Old Hollywood Era.

 

Sai has always been fascinated by vintage and unique pieces. She takes that inspiration and reconstructs those pieces in her own unique and modern way to make them more wearable, more appealing and more elegant. She focuses on the details of fashion design to blend vintage fashion with contemporary trends. The Sai Sankoh brand draws inspiration from Sai’s own continent Africa and then is grounded by some of her favorite fashion pieces rediscovered inside her own closet.

 

Sai wanted to design couture-inspired styles with good quality fabrics, precise attention to details, tailored for the everyday woman and delivered at an affordable price. She spends six years writing about celebrity style, styling clients, and reviewing red carpet fashion before she did her first collection. Sai aims to make women worldwide feel more empowered, attractive and confident through fashion. She wants every woman to be proud of herself and welcomes women from around the world to join her growing family of Sai Sankoh.

COOL

COOL stands for Create Out Of Love and the COOL Collection is an empowering fashion-meets-art, sportswear line. The pieces celebrate culture and are inspired by 60s Civil Rights movement style. The designers appropriately call this the #StyleOfTheStruggle.

 

The ICON drawings represent perseverance, hope, love, excellence, strength and courage, with a message to energize young people to become change agents in their communities. The reimagined cultural patterns are a nod to tradition. Historically, art has served as a vehicle to bring awareness to issues in politics, culture and the human condition. The COOL Collection hopes to spark positive conversations and encourage people to do something that will impact the world in a positive way.

Uzuri International

The Caribbean's premier couture design atelier, creating high fashion designs for the past two decades.  Uzuri International Designers Karl Williams and Mark McDermoth, both from Jamaica, create couture masterpieces, utilizing their favorite media - feathers, luxurious fabrics, crystals and an unusual paint-art embroidery they personally developed. They are infamous for their sinfully sexy cuts, seductive silhouettes and scintillating slits and were invited by Miss World Chairman, Julia Morley, as guest designers to outfit all 112 contestants in the Miss World pageant, 2008 in Johannesburg, South Africa - a first for the Caribbean!

Norma Ebanks

Designer Norma Ebanks has always had a love for fashion and which has led her to mentor some of the finest fashion professionals in the industry. She studied at the notable Parsons University in New York City, now also famous for being the home for Supermodel Heidi Klum’s TV show “Project Runway. And has also trained in Fashion and Design in Jamaica at the Howell School of Fashion.

 

She returned to Cayman armed with the fashion inspiration after being trained by Parsons University and Sew Rite School, she was certified in Fashion Designing and Home Décor and established the well renowned Creative Fashion & Design. Creative Fashion & Design is a busy and successful fashion studio catering to the sartorial needs of people both local and international fashionable women, men, children as well as home decorating. 

 

With over 25 years’ experience in the fashion industry, her main goal has always been to support people locally and internationally who dream of a career in international fashion designing. She has mentored several aspiring designers locally and internationally over the years through the Creative Fashion & Design sewing school which offers designing and pattern making classes. The school offers sewing and design classes and welcomes both beginners and advanced students.

Rochelle Ebanks

 Rochelle Ebanks is a student of Clifton Hunter High School. She has been involved in the Fashion world since she was the age of three (3) years, helping and observing her mother, who is a Fashion Designer. Rochelle is now fourteen (14) years old and while attending Prospect Primary School, she was awarded the certificate of Ms. Fashionista by her peers.

 

Rochelle plans to pursue her carrier also as a Fashion Designer. Rochelle has been sewing on a regular basis for the past six (6) years and has a passion for designing new styles. Rochelle has entered Cayman Fashion Week on more than one occasion and has also entered in other fashion shows around the Caribbean. She resides with her parents in Bodden Town, Cayman Islands.

Roger Gary, fashion designer from Guyana demonstrated signs of his love for art and fashion by his unusual and unpredictable creations even at an early age.  He attended the E.R Borrowers School of Art in Guyana under to tutorage of the late Dennis Williams and the Jamaica School of Art in Kingston, Jamaica. There, he was encouraged to pursue his true calling, Fashion Design and upon his arrival in New York attended Pratt Institute for a year and the Parsons School of Design.

 

Roger Gary has produced some of the most elegant eveningwear, daywear and swimwear for his private clientele and fashion-forward customers. His creations has been featured in numerous editorials and articles in Woman’s Wear Daily, NY Daily News, Caribbean Life, Essence Magazine. He was the first designer to be featured at the original “Fashion Café” in Rockefeller Centre, NYC. On television, his creations were features on Fashion TV, Fox Channel 5, BET’s “Rip the Runway” and VH1/Vogue First Fashion Awards,   Miss Universe and Miss World Pageants.

 

His collections have been showcased during New York Fashion Week, Brooklyn Fashion Weekend, Caribbean Fashion Week, StyleWeek Jamaica, Barbados Fashion Week, St.Kitt’s Fashion Week, Virgin Islands Fashion Week, Summer Sizzle BVI, Guyana Fashion Showcase and the International Designer’s Show.

K.Rose is a luxury eveningwear and bridal brand based in the Cayman Islands. Interested in sewing from age 4 and drawing inspiration from every inch of life; Designer Kenzie Rose not only conceptualizes but also drafts and cuts patterns, constructs, embellishes and finishes each garment that bears the K.Rose signature label. In 2016 Kenzie was tasked with creating Miss Cayman Islands national costume for Miss Universe, which has led her to build a plentiful pageant clientele seeking unique, one of a kind showstoppers!

 

K.Rose has presented her collection at Cayman Islands Fashion Week and participated in a discussion panel and fashion show during CayFilm-the International film festival of the Cayman Islands, where she has served as head of wardrobe on an international short film. K. Rose has also designed costumes for Miss Universe winners and  also designed costumes for  Miss British Virgin Islands 2017 on her journey to Miss Universe. Her work has been in the spotlight and featured on yahoo.com and cosmopolitan.com.

ALONG was born in 2016 made in Colombia, with a main store distributor at Fort Lauderdale Florida; with an innovative swimwear and sportswear line for men, made of different smart textiles, completely amphibious with UV protection.

Each item from ALONG represents the fashion tendency with versatile patterns with multiple colors; that make the collection a story that identify the adventurous man, sexy and creative. Enjoying the summer and the physical activity wearing our brand to look and feel great.

And because of all of this, throughout the year, the brand was positioned by the fashion specialist min the country and all the brand followers.

Backstage Boutique

Born in San Juan Puerto Rico, her first collection was called (Love for tropical flowers) in 2014 in San Juan, which was inspired by the colorful flowers of the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. She started off started studying architecture  Her teachers told her that she was so special to them because she made things different from others with her art and vision.

 After leaving the architecture career, she moved to the Dominican Republic to study Fashion Design, at the Chavon High School, where her career began. Her mission is to let people understand that fashion is something one would do and not something that can always be seen. Fashion allows the designer and the model to be different from the rest.  That's why she enjoys fashion because it allows her to do things differently but above all with delicacy.

 

She envisions working alongside some other notable fashion designers.
